SERP Preview

Enter any URL to see how it appears in Google search results. Reads live meta tags from your page.

What is a SERP Preview?

When your page appears in Google search results, it shows three key elements: the title (a blue clickable link), the URL breadcrumb (showing your site's path in green), and the description snippet (a short excerpt from your meta description). Together, these determine whether someone clicks your result or scrolls past it.

This tool fetches your page's live HTML, extracts the title tag, meta description, Open Graph tags, and favicon, then renders them in a pixel-accurate simulation of a Google search result card.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a SERP preview?
SERP stands for Search Engine Results Page. A SERP preview shows how your webpage appears as a result in Google Search — including the page title (blue link), URL breadcrumb (green path), and meta description snippet. This tool simulates that appearance using the live meta tags from your page.
Why is my title or description getting cut off?
Google truncates titles at around 60 characters and descriptions at around 160 characters. If your text is longer, Google will cut it and add "…". This tool highlights when you are approaching or exceeding those limits so you can adjust your meta tags accordingly.
What is the difference between the title tag and og:title?
The <title> tag is the primary signal Google uses for the search result title. The og:title (Open Graph title) is used by social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter when your page is shared. Google may also use og:title as a fallback or alternative. This tool shows both when they differ.
Why does Google sometimes show a different title than my title tag?
Google may rewrite your title if it considers your title tag too long, keyword-stuffed, or not representative of the page content. Providing a concise, descriptive title tag and matching og:title reduces the chance of Google overriding it.
Is the URL I enter sent to a third party?
No third party is involved. Your URL is fetched by this site's own server (a Cloudflare Worker) to read the page's meta tags. The URL is not shared with Google or any other service.
